Wellhub and TotalPass payouts: how much a gym gets per visit and how to check it

By Victor Ferreira · October 26, 2026 · 6 min read

Wellhub and TotalPass payouts have no public rate table: each contract sets the amount per check-in and a cap per member each month. That is why the number that matters is not the check-in amount, but what each visit is worth after the cap. You can calculate it every month with the portal report and the gym's attendance list.

How much does a gym get per Wellhub and TotalPass check-in?

It depends on the contract, and neither company publishes a rate table. What exists are general rules and reports from those who get paid.

Wellhub says, in its partner help center, that the amount per check-in is calculated based on the gym's walk-in prices. The same text says the payment "covers up to a specific number of check-ins per member each month". In other words: there is a limit per member.

TotalPass states that it pays for completed check-ins and that it takes into account the type of gym, activity, facilities and region. The company does not detail a cap or a payment date in that text.

Public reports help give an order of magnitude:

Platform Reported amount Who reported it Source and date
Aggregators, platform not specified R$ 9.90 per check-in, capped at the R$ 119 walk-in plan Visão Fitness, South Zone of São Paulo Seu Dinheiro, July 22, 2026
Wellhub, Silver plan R$ 15 per check-in Pilates studio, on Reclame Aqui Remessa Online, September 17, 2026
Wellhub, Gold plan R$ 35 per check-in The same studio Remessa Online, September 17, 2026
TotalPass, TP3 plan R$ 21.67, then an offer of R$ 16.42 Partner, on Reclame Aqui Remessa Online, September 17, 2026

These are individual cases, not an industry average. Use them to compare with your contract, not as a basis for negotiation.

The amount also changes over time. According to Correio, in February 2026, the owner of a gym in Salvador said the last adjustment was in 2023. The next offer brought progressive discounts by check-in volume. By his math, this could cut the amount received by up to 15%. That is why every contract renewal calls for the same check of the value per visit.

Why does the value per visit drop at the end of the month?

Because the cap per member makes the last visits worth little or nothing. The frequent member is precisely the one who weighs most in the math.

The founder of Visão Fitness explained the mechanism to Seu Dinheiro, in July 2026. The gym gets about R$ 9.90 per aggregator check-in. The payout stops when it reaches the walk-in plan price of R$ 119. A member who trains five times a week would add up to R$ 198, but the cap cuts the total.

See the effect with these numbers (example calculated from the published case):

Member's visits in the month Sum of check-ins Payout with the R$ 119 cap Average value per visit
8 R$ 79.20 R$ 79.20 R$ 9.90
12 R$ 118.80 R$ 118.80 R$ 9.90
13 R$ 128.70 R$ 119.00 R$ 9.15
20 R$ 198.00 R$ 119.00 R$ 5.95

Under this contract, the 13th visit is worth R$ 0.20 and from the 14th on each visit is worth zero. The member keeps using the class, the locker room and the peak-hour spot.

That does not make the aggregator bad. In the same article, the founder says about 20% of members come from the apps. Leaving all at once would take that revenue with it.

How do you check the aggregator payout every month?

By cross-checking three pieces of data: the portal's check-ins, the attendance recorded at the gym and the amount paid. The check takes a few steps if the data is in one place.

  1. Download the month's check-in report. In Wellhub, the history is in the Finance menu of the Partner Portal. The contract terms are in the Partnership menu.
  2. Compare it with attendance from the gym's turnstile or check-in. A visit that went through the turnstile and does not appear in the portal is revenue that may have been left behind.
  3. Group by member. The cap applies per person. Summing the whole month hides who went over the limit.
  4. Calculate each member's value per visit. The member's payout divided by their visits. This is the number that shows who has become a cost.
  5. Check the amount that hit the account. Wellhub reports monthly payment, around the 15th, for the previous month.
  6. Log the discrepancy with a date. If the amount does not match, open a ticket with the report and the attendance list attached.

Done by hand, this work combines a spreadsheet, the portal and the bank statement. That is why many gyms only look at the total that hit the account.

With two aggregators, the work doubles. Each portal has its own report, its own format and its own payment date. It pays to build the same spreadsheet for both, with one row per member and one column per platform.

What should you do with a member who went over the cap?

First, know who they are. Then, decide with numbers, not impressions.

A member who trains 20 times a month through the aggregator is the natural candidate for a direct plan. They already have the habit, already know the team and train more than the walk-in plan covers. The offer needs care: the member chose the app for a reason, often a benefit from the company where they work.

Some gyms restrict use instead of leaving. According to Correio, in February 2026, a gym in Salvador limited the aggregator to weekends. Attendance fell about 30% in the first 20 days, according to the owner.

Before any decision, it pays to have four numbers from the last quarter:

Can a gym work with Wellhub and TotalPass at the same time?

Yes, in most cases. In January 2026, Wellhub announced an agreement with Cade on exclusivity.

According to Wellhub's text, exclusivity applies to up to ten named chains, such as Bluefit, Selfit and Pure Pilates. The other partner gyms remain non-exclusive and can partner with other aggregators.

Having both widens the audience, but doubles the checking. That means two portals, two reports, two contracts with their own rules and two payments on different dates.

How CERNE solves aggregator reconciliation

In CERNE, Wellhub and TotalPass check-ins go into the month alongside the gym's attendance. The payout is reconciled per visit and per member.

The workflow CERNE offers gyms works like this:

The AI assistant answers questions such as "how much was a Wellhub visit worth in October?" with the gym's own data. Monthly fees, the front desk and payouts sit in the same cash flow.

The details are on the gyms and wellness page, in the gym workflows section.

Frequently asked questions

How much does Wellhub pay a gym per check-in?
There is no public rate table. According to Wellhub itself, the amount per check-in is calculated from the gym's walk-in price and covers a limited number of check-ins per member each month. A gym in the South Zone of São Paulo told Seu Dinheiro, in July 2026, that it gets about R$ 9.90 per aggregator check-in.
How much does TotalPass pay per check-in?
TotalPass does not publish a rate table either. The company says the payout follows completed check-ins and takes into account the type of gym, activity, facilities and region. Partner reports gathered by Remessa Online, in September 2026, cite R$ 21.67 per check-in on the TP3 plan, with a later offer of R$ 16.42.
When does Wellhub pay the gym?
Wellhub says it pays once a month, around the 15th, for the previous month's check-ins. The history is in the Finance menu of the Partner Portal, and the contract terms are in the Partnership menu.
Why do zero-value check-ins appear in the aggregator report?
Because the contract limits how much the gym receives per member each month. Once the member reaches that cap, the following visits may show up in the report at R$ 0. A chain interviewed by Seu Dinheiro said the payout stops when it reaches the price of the walk-in plan.
Can a gym accept Wellhub and TotalPass at the same time?
Yes. In the agreement with Cade, from January 2026, Wellhub kept exclusivity with up to ten named chains. The other partner gyms remain non-exclusive and can work with other aggregators.
